At the age of 20, Laurent Levasseur created two IT services companies before joining the group Bull. In 2000, following the acquisition by Medasys of the business he managed at Bull, he was nominated director of the Health Solutions business unit before becoming head of development. In early 2006, he created Bluelinea with Alexis Westermann in order to “Take care of your parents, within at home or in an retirement home”
As the first SilverTech listed on Euronext Growth, the company has become a benchmark player in the deployment of connected objects, the provision of which has the double aim of :
– Protecting and improving daily lives for dependent people or those losing autonomy to help them remain in their homes : 28.000 subscribers to 24/7 tele-monitoring and assistance services.
– Assisting care providers and helpers, securing and simplifying communication and exchanges between people : +800 health establishments equipped with Bluelinea solutions.
CEO of Bluelinea, Laurent Levasseur is also a member of the National Welfare Commission (Commission Nationale de Bientraitance) and takes part in various ministerial working groups including the ASV draft law (Adapting Society to Ageing). He is also Vice-President responsible for the College of SMEs and Large Groups in France SilverEco and an active Member of the Executive Board and the Executive Committee of a famous Competitiveness Cluster (Systematic Paris Region).
