Didier Tsala Effa

Didier Tsala Effa is Full Professor in semiotics and anthropology at Université de Limoges. After his PHD in 2000, he spent 8 years as assistant professor at Essec Busines school Paris-Singapour and 12 years as Senior consultant in marketing, communication and strategy. In 2010, he becomes associate professor in semiotics at université de Limoges and Full Professor in 2017. From 2012, in connection with Aldébaran Robotics (now Softbank), he starts a research in IA and humanoïds robotics (Romeo project ) for older adults to improve their autonomy. He developed this research later with Inbenta (specifically in semiotics and IA) as Scientific director in Aging, well Being and E-health Chair. Didier Tsala Effa is actually Deputy Manager of Viesanté Lab (Aging – Frailty – Prevention – Digital Health inside Omega Health Institute at université de Limoges.
