Frederic Lievens

Co-Director of the Telehealth Quality Group, a network of telehealth service providers and technology companies, promoting and implementing the “International Code of Practice for Telehealth Services” which is a quality guideline/standard and benchmark for telehealth service provision.

Involved in the daily management and operations (as Vice Executive Director) of the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth, a global network of telemedicine/eHealth stakeholders, that supports the sharing of experience and knowledge among its members, to drive the practical implementation of telemedicine and eHealth services and solutions forward.

Participating in the EU-funded PROGRESSIVE project, looking at multi-stakeholder involvement in, and coordination of, standardisation activities and standards development in the field of “ICT for Active & Healthy Ageing”, and especially at the involvement of users/older people.
