Rachel qualified in 1986 and worked in ICU both in Leeds and Australia before moving to Airedale in December 2000. In 2011, the Trust opened their Digital Care Hub supporting patients remotely 24/7 in their own home. The hub now supports over 20,000 care home residents in 500 homes across the country, provides GP triage and end of life care via the Gold Line. Rachel was also the clinical lead for the Airedale & Partners vanguard program, working with East Lancashire CCG on the Enhanced Health in Care Homes work stream.
