Exploring the role of labour-saving technologies in the care for older adults: current progress and future directions |
After studying at the University of Passau and at the Institut Catholique de Paris, Viola Baumgärtner graduated in International Culture and Business Management with a specialization in the French-speaking cultural area. She began her professional career as a marketing communications and PR manager in the telecommunications industry. After this, Viola Baumgärtner worked for 18 years as an exhibition director in the field of international trade fair and event management and was responsible for the organization of official joint company exhibitions on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany.
In 2020, Viola Baumgärtner joined the German Korian Foundation for Care and Ageing with Dignity after completing further training towards a degree in social management and healthcare management. Since then, she has been actively involved in setting up the foundation and is responsible for finance and operational project management.
